Scope — Individual tool adoption

AI Readiness Assessment

Where your business stands today on using AI tools — and what to fix first.

Individual Team Organisation

Purpose

This is the starting point. It tells you whether your business has the basic conditions in place to start adopting AI tools — before you spend time or budget on training or new systems.

What it covers

You'll answer questions covering your current use of AI tools, how ready your data and processes are to support them, how comfortable your team is with new technology, and whether there's leadership support to drive adoption. Your answers are scored and mapped to a readiness tier, with priority areas flagged for you.

Who should take it

  • Business owners or managers who haven't started using AI tools yet and want to know if now is the right time
  • Teams that have tried one or two AI tools informally and want an honest read on what's holding wider adoption back
  • Anyone about to plan an AI adoption budget or training programme and needs a baseline first

Workforce Readiness Assessment

How ready your people — not just your tools — are for AI-driven change.

Individual Team Organisation

Purpose

Modelled on the framework behind TalentCorp's national Workforce Readiness Assessment, adapted for Malaysian SMEs. It looks past the tools and asks a harder question: are your people, roles, and skills ready for what AI adoption will change in your organisation?

What it covers

A longer, more detailed diagnostic — 24 questions across four areas: workforce readiness (digital literacy, change readiness, leadership buy-in), your current skills landscape against AI-era skill gaps, which roles and functions are most exposed to AI-driven change, and how your workforce is distributed across functions and seniority. Your score is benchmarked against an SME average and mapped to one of four readiness tiers.

Who should take it

  • HR managers or department heads planning reskilling or workforce restructuring around AI
  • Business owners who've already started using AI tools and now need to understand the impact on roles and headcount
  • Anyone preparing a workforce development plan or HRD Corp training proposal who needs a defensible baseline

Digitalisation Level Assessment

A full read on how digitalised your organisation is — processes, technology, data, and culture.

Individual Team Organisation

Purpose

The broadest of the three. Instead of focusing on AI specifically, it measures your overall digital maturity — the systems you run on, how your data is used, and whether your culture and strategy support further digitalisation. Use it as a starting point for a wider transformation roadmap.

What it covers

20 questions across five pillars: business process digitalisation, technology and systems infrastructure, data and decision-making, culture and change readiness, and digital strategy and governance. Each pillar is scored out of 100, rolled into an overall score, and mapped to one of four maturity tiers — from Digital Starter to Digital Leader. Your results highlight your three lowest-scoring areas, each with a specific next step.

Who should take it

  • Business owners or operations leads who want the full picture before committing to a transformation project
  • Anyone benchmarking where their organisation sits before engaging a consultant or trainer
  • Companies that have already digitalised parts of the business and want to know what's still missing
